Advancing Through the Program

New Stripe and Belt System for "Beginning Level" Lzfma Ninjas

As in our basic youth programs, the "Ninjas" Program will implement a stripe and belt system which will celebrate the students' accomplishments and encourage goal achievement. Parents will also award their ninjas a stripe for "listening the first time". Held approximately every nine weeks, "Ninja Performances" fees are $30.00 and as with the youth programs are by invitation only.

Monitoring Your Child's Progress

Ninjas instructors monitor your child's progress by his or her skill stripes. Make sure your child is consistent with his or her attendance so that he or she earns each skill stripe. Participation in Little Ninjas Belt Performances are by invitation. Those attending twice per week will most likely progress at a higher rate than those who attend once per week. A curriculum calendar highlights the weekly skills and any special notes.

Homework Assignments

Homework assignments that will help reinforce the martial arts skills that your child is learning. If your child has a difficulty with a specific skill, the instructor may ask you to work with him or her at home to improve the skill. Our goal is to help your child thoroughly develop the eight skills in the Ninjas Program. With your help, your child will learn and grow, demonstrating commitment and dedication to excellence in everything that he or she does.

  • If a student must leave the class during training, Just leave, when you return do five pushups to refocus.
  • Students will listen and follow all class instructions the first time.
  • Anything that would prevent the student from performing in class to their fullest should be discussed it with the instructor before the start of class.
  • No jewelry to be worn during the class.

    2. "Now that I have promoted, when will I get my belt?"

    • Return all equipment to its proper place after use.
    • Students waiting off the mat area must show respect and keep their voices low.
    • No horse playing.
    • Have fun, work hard and you can be a great black belt.

Failure to live by these rules can result in midnight attacks from ninja assassins.
Of course, if the ninjas were sent to the wrong home please send them back unharmed.
